Christmas and New Year Opening Times 2021/January 2022

Please note the following opening times over the Christmas:

Friday 24^th  -  closed at 12:30PM 

Saturday 25^th to Monday 27^th  inclusive -   closed

Tuesday 28^th to  Friday 31^st at 4PM -  open

Friday 31^st  from 4PM to Tuesday at 9AM -  closed

Please telephone out of hours (Limerick Doc) at 087 7551570 for emergencies only when surgery is closed.

Routine appointments are not available on 28^th and 31^st December - emergencies only.

Dr William J. Murray R.I.P.

As a mark of respect following the death of Dr William J. Murray (5th September 1927-26th November 2019) founder of this practice and father of our Principal, Dr Richard Murray, the surgery will be closed from 10:45AM to 2 PM on Thursday 28th November during the funeral mass.

Winner of Irish College of General Practioners Annual Audit and Practice Improvement Awards 2019

New Book Online Facility

We are trialing a new ONLINE BOOKING system for routine appointments. You can book and pay by using the "BOOK ONLINE" tab at the top of the page. We hope to roll out this facility to all patients in due course. 

Hearing Tests

New Audiology Service

Mr Gerard Feeney, Audiologist is now running a hearing assessment clinic every third Tuesday between 2 and 5 PM at King's Island Medical Center. Testing is free of charge.

Samaritans Provide European Free to Caller Number

The Samaritans are currently testing a European wide free-to-caller number for people in emotional distress - the telephone number is 116 123.

Mental Health in Primary Care Initiative
